It is with my warmest greetings to be writing you this mail today 8th November 2017. Read More.
I am delighted to tell you that I got a job offer last week Friday for a Supporting Life Choices Development Manager. I started the PMO training January 2016. I attended Henry’s and Tahrima’s classes in Manchester and in London, also attended the interview training with Uche via skype same last year. It was not an easy journey but I give thanks to almighty God.
However, it took me 6 Months to secure my first PMO role as a project support officer in 2016 after 9 interviews being unsuccessful. I felt so bad and thought I wasn’t good enough and that killed my confidence. Going forward I always say to myself I want to be a project manager in 5 years to come but I never thought it would happen in the space of 9 months.
Please never stop believing and trusting God. If God can do it for me he will also do yours. #letsgetliftedhigh
Many thanks to the Almond team.
Firstly would like to say thank you for all the help the organisation rendered to me during my training to becomes a Business Analyst. I enrolled on the B.A course on the 1st of June 2017, and rounded up after four weeks and a week after rounding up my course I was swiftly placed on a live project which was very helpful and increased my knowledge in the business IT industry. After being placed on the a live project and got a C.V review class from Peter I decided to start applying for jobs and attending interviews using the interview skills gained from ALMOND CAREERS.
After numerous interviews I am pleased to say on the 22nd August 2017 I was offered a permanent position as a Business Analyst in a DATA processing company in Scotland.
Looking forward to share more success stories as my career progresses.
Dear Almond Careers,
I was made redundant from my previous job and was seeking a career change. I thought of doing Business Analysis training for a while but kept putting it off until a close friend suggested Almond Careers to me. I finally made up my mind and decided to do the training in January for 4 weeks, and also did a complimentary Project Management training course almost simultaneously.
I had 11 face to face rejections from interviews and 5 telephone interview rejections (spanning 5 months) and was very discouraged. I began to wonder if this career choice was actually right. I then decided to switch to applying for PMO jobs because I had some training in it from the classroom at Almond Careers. But fortunately, I got 3 job offers for a Business Analyst role (2 went wrong in the negotiation stage) but I secured the 3rd one, which turned out to be the BEST!
I want to really appreciate Henry, Tahriima, Edwin, Jumoke and especially Uzor (who I would say is my No1 mentor- he kept encouraging me when I almost gave up). Thanks everyone, thanks Almond Careers. Good work!.
A big thank you to you all at Almond Careers!
Dear Almond Careers,
I was looking for a career change with genuine interest in Project Management. I enrolled in March with Almond Careers where I was trained by Theriima who saw potentials in me and was kind enough to answer all my “many” questions. She was very motivating, constantly reminding me to be confident and believe in myself ” her words exactly”.
I benefited from the experience of actively working on real projects with different teams -experiencing real difficulties. I also had my CV reviewed, had one on one interview coaching and finally….. Its July 2017 and I have now been offered a Project Administrator role with an asset management company and my aim is to progress quickly within Project Management.
I would strongly recommend Almond Careers because the practical experience and support has helped me build confidence and understanding on how to apply these theories to practical knowledge. I would also like to add that it is important to take these projects seriously and work hard for yourself because you may need to demonstrate these to your interviewers. Otherwise, you will be wasting your time and others.
A big thank you to team Almond!
My journey with you started when I attended the April training session where I was trained by Mr Henry Mbadiwe on Project Management and Business Analysis. Right afterwards, I took a decision to put all efforts to grow as a Project Manager using the Work Experience program as a catalyst. The training opened my eyes to industry standard methodologies for managing projects and the experience program gave me a platform to explore.
Months after, I got an interview with a Swedish IT Company. Tahriima who works with Almond’s support team in the UK was with me all the way, guiding me through with tips and answers focused on the job description. After going though a rigorous process, I was selected for the role of a Technical Project Manager.
I truly want to thank Almond Careers, my project team, Jess and Tahriima who gave me all her time even when she was on holiday just to see me succeed. God bless you all.
The moment I stepped into the Almond career’s London office my innermost mind told me ‘’you’re in the right place’’ Almond career have not just helped me secure my dream job, it has helped me ‘turn my vision into reality’ by shaping my career with the best-in-class practical business analysis and project management training. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire member of the staff of Almond career for their exceptional advice, coaching, support and mentoring; particularly; Henry, Uche and Tahriima. I really appreciate the time that you spent with me, I certainly learned a lot in those short but valuable moments. Again, thank you so very much for helping me in fostering professional excellence as a Business Analyst/Project Manager.
I was at a cross road in my career having moved to the UK in 2014. My lack of relevant UK experience had hindered my chances of getting jobs in the sectors I had worked in prior to my relocation, I had attended several courses trying to change my career so as to be able to attract a good paying job. After whats seemed to be an exercise in futility, I took a decision to go into project management and after speaking with the founder and CEO Henry Mbadiwe I decided to enrol with Almond careers. I was swayed by the genuine concern he showed for my need for self development and desire to kick start my career in project management. I opted for the BA training and was given the PMO training free which turned out to be invaluable. From the very first class with Tahriima I was convinced I had made one of the best decisions in my life.
The training centre, the tutors and the attitude at almond career is second to none, the four weeks training was an experience. I was exposed to quality materials, excellent tutors, good interactions and genuine support. I was also afforded the opportunity of enhancing my BA skills on two real life projects with adequate support from the program directors, staff and fellow students, the kind of which i strongly doubt can be gotten anywhere else. The impact that my training has had on my self confidence and my career development can not be over emphasised, I truly cannot recommend Almond Media enough and I thank you for what you have done for my career.
I wish you greater milestones ahead.
I want to thank Almond Careers for the high quality training classroom.
I started my training course as a Business Analyst in January which I concluded by the end of the month and then started a PMO/PSO training class which I was told I could attend has a complimentary class for registering as a BA. I enjoyed the PMO class and learnt so much from Tahriima and Edwin, but I continued working as a BA on my projects and also learnt a lot on PMO duties and responsibilities during our projects meeting, it’s been a very long and hardworking journey, one which I am glad I took and the practical experience I have learnt as well. I have now secure a role in PMO (Project Management Officer) Analyst at Dixon Carphone Group. Appreciation to Henry, Tahriima, David, Edwin, Aisha for their coaching and real life experience and been a great mentor. – Kind Regards
I studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at university and graduated in 2014. I wasn’t able to find my graduate job and as a result I decided to do any job that I could find until a suitable opportunity came. This never happened. Fast forward to 2 years later, I then decided to think outside the box and do something totally different. That’s when I came across Almond Careers as they provided practical work experience, I decided to stick with them and do the PMO course. I really enjoyed the course as it was taught so well and also working on a real project made it easier to understand everything that I had been taught and put it into practice and was a great bonus during interviews as I actually knew what I was talking about. I managed to get a role as a project support assistant in an NHS trust after 7 months of doing the course and I’m really grateful for this. Thank you Almond Careers
I am pleased to tell you that i got a job offer yesterday for a business analyst role. I started the BA training end of June and finished in July 2016. I attended one of Tahrima’s classes to learn about Prince2 and also attended her CV/interviews training. I travelled for 2 weeks after the training and as soon as i got back, i started revising on my training notes, watching lots of videos online. Anytime i come across something in job specs, i would go to you tube and learn about it or Google it. When i finished writing my CV, I sent to Tahrima who reviewed it for me and i made amendments. Another thing i did was ensured that am fully involved in the project allocated to my team – this really helped understand some of the theory learned in class. ( Thanks to my wonderful team mates, especially our project manager, Lawrence (who by the way just got an offer too) who is so hardworking and never gives up on the project. I started getting calls the moment i started applying for jobs. Almond Media has been very supportive throughout my journey. A big thanks to Uzor who was always there to help me prepare for interviews. I now have an offer for a fantastic BA role less than 2 months after I completed the training.
Thank you everyone at Almond careers. I would recommend you anytime.

I went through the Almond Careers project management training and it was a great experience. Learnt the core fundamentals of project management from experienced experts, received amazing support and guidance from both the trainers and the office during the practical work experience with an amazing team that were all trainees at Almond Careers and were totally focused on becoming great project management experts. The Almond Careers team keeps you motivated and gives you everything you need to become a project management expert. Without any formal project management experience before starting the PM course with Almond Careers, I secured 3 different roles as a Digital Project Manager while still on the 3 months practical work experience and had the luxury of choosing which of the roles I preferred. No doubt about it, the Almond Careers training and practical work experience works!!!
– Lawrence (Digital Project Manager)
I had my training in Jan 2015, the first set of the year and in march just 5 weeks after the training, I was successful in securing a project analyst role with RBS. I have been a staff of RBS in all my career and it was the desire to change my role that got me taking the course with Almond careers. I was also the project manager in my group when we worked on the KTB App and the things i took away from my role as a PM was taking note of the key things I came across. And then armed with experience and confidence, I applied for this role. What fascinated the interviewers was the way I answered the questions from a project point of view. I asked the right questions during the interview which got the recruiters interested in me. Almond Careers is worth it and the knowledge you get from the training is sufficient for you to get your dream job. Don’t misuse this opportunity.
Cheers! – Charles
I say want to say how grateful I am to the whole team at Almond. I managed to secure a well paying job on Friday. I can say for sure the job would have been beyond my reach if I hadn’t enrolled on the course. Henry, Cece and the rest were all great tutors and they always ensured the sessions were very interactive. I am very happy I decided enrol on the course and would advice anyone out there to stop wasting time and take action. It’s one step I certainly should have taken earlier in my career. Best wishes to the whole team at Almond Careers.

Hello Henry, My name is Sharon Onumonu and I attended BTP/14/21st March 2015 class and worked on the online lingerie website(beyondtheperm). I would like to thank you and your team for the training, support and motivation you gave during my training with you. When i started the training, i had so much doubt on my ability and worth, considering i have been working in a dead-end job for the past 3 years. I attended an internal job interview within my company for a project assistant role and was not successful, this made me revolted and i decided to make a change in my career. I stumbled upon your company on youtube whilst i was researching on how to get into project management and will never regret the choice i made to enrol for a project management training with your company. I have secured a role with Accenture as a project administrator on a contract basis and started today 24/06/2015. I had an excellent interview, was able to demonstrate project skills that i acquired from the training and also did extensive research about the company before my interview. I was offered the job in less than 48hrs. I took your advice “you have nothing to lose, but a lot to gain” and i am so grateful for all you and your team taught me. And i thank God for his infinite mercy and will highly recommend your company to others.

I just secured a permanent PSO (admin) role with Euro Car Parts Ltd and would start on the 1st of June 2015. Had an excellent interview, thanks to your training i was able to demonstrate and display project skills like they have never seen before and was given the job less than 12 hours after interview. Will forever remain grateful to you and i believe your best is yet to come…. for lifting others up and not looking down on anyone.. God will continue to lift you higher in life and bless you continously. Thank you for your favourable response.

I am glad that I had the good fortune to attend the project management and business analysis course with Almond Careers. Without that foundation, I doubt I’d be writing this email. The team at Almond Careers was definitely heaven-sent. The course does not bombard you with text book information and let you on your way; it gives you the opportunity to get your feet wet. The project you are put on, the role assignment, the guidance; all these give you a solid foundation on which to stand on. I finished the course end of October, started applying in November, and had quite a few telephone interviews that fell through, each time a bit disappointed but I carried on. I got this BA job as a new year’s gift, after my first face-to-face interview late December. I grateful to Henry for his powerful teaching and to Tahrima and Chuky for their awesome support and encouragement. I wanted to send this email after a week (now a month) on the job so that I would be able to justify this advice. Study! Refer back to the training materials! Research! Ask questions! Do not take BA/PMO/PM forums for granted; find them online. You WILL get that first job!!! Your first job may be easy, slowly and kindly easing you into that role but don’t bank on that. Prepare yourself expecting that you will be dropped in the deep end of the pool and left to swim on your own. It will be a lot of work but by grace, we will all come out victorious. With a heart of gratitude to the team.

Hello Henry, I got a Project Administrator role for 6 months with NHS last week. Please keep anonymous. I was part of the team that worked on KTB wedding app in Jan 2015. After completing the course and doing some more months of personal learning to keep myself updated with project skills. I went for few business analyst roles, but after several weeks of no joy in securing a business analyst role. I decided to apply for project support role about a month ago and I went for 2 interviews for the role of PSO, but to my surprise I was offered both roles. I decided to take the first offer. I am so grateful for the training given to us. I believe no matter what, don’t give up; your time will come. Thank you

A student in 2015 February for the KTB app…I’m ecstatic to let you know ive officially secured a job as a Project Manager for a local authority as my very first role! To anyone who’s done Almond Media training always remember that it is only the beginning, the work doesn’t stop…be prepared to go the extra mile and take the necessary steps to get there, some people can secure a role in weeks some in months, the key is to never give up…I’ve had many interviews these included Amazon, GlaxoSmithKline, UCL and East London University…I’ve always taken my experience and pushed to do better when I was unsuccessful. Never give up if you want to achieve your goals.

Good Morning Henry; My tears are gone! My joy knows no bounds. I have just secured the role of a Business Analyst with one of the top UK Banks. I joined Almond Careers late 2013 and at the time I was looking to change career. I got to know about Almond Careers on Facebook & I happened to coincidentally watch Henry give a talk on one of the TV stations about Project Management career and how they were offering practical work experience. So I decided to give it a try. After the training; I did my certifications and then started applying for jobs but nothing was forthcoming. I was barely getting calls and the few times I did, I never progressed any further. Discouragement set in; I caved in and gave up. I went into other ventures but my mind was still on breaking into the project management industry. Then one day in the course of encouraging my wife re a change in career; I realised it was time for me to return to my first love. So we took a bold step. I decided to retrain & my wife joined me in the training with Almond Careers in Feb this year. We applied ourselves individually & collectively with other members of the project team to all that we were taught both during the training & thereafter & I’m happy to say that this time around on several occasions I was getting put through to the next stage of interviews after the initial telephone interview. The team at Almond Careers also helped prepare me for these interviews. The more interviews I had the more my confidence grew. So finally the Journey took me 3 years – it should have been shorter(remember I gave up at a time) but now I know Persistence does pay off. Never give up; you are next in line! Thanks Henry! Thanks Tahriima! Thanks the Whole Project Team. Almond Careers Rocks!!!

I graduated with my BA Hons from University 3 years ago. At the time I was working part-time as a care support worker as a way of making extra money whilst I finished my studies. I carried on in this role for another 3 years because I was unable to penetrate the job market due to lack of experience. A friend and my sister suggested that I look into doing project management and obtaining a PRINCE2 certification, I wanted and needed a change and liked the idea of doing project management because it was always something that interested me but I wasn’t sure about doing a PRINCE2 because I knew even with that, experience would still be key. I started research ways to get hands on training and work experience in the field and came across Almond Careers on Facebook. I did my research, read their success stories and made inquires. I took the 1 week intensive PMO course in June and started working on 2 projects. They provided me with all the relevant skills and tools I need to be effective in the workplace. They also helped me restructure my CV and prepare for job interviews, as well as one to one mentorship. With their help, support and guidance I was able to secure a new role with a blue chip company as a PMO Consultant and will be starting in the new year.
I have already recommended some family members and would recommend anyone else looking for a career change.
Thank you so much Almond Careers
